Guns, Product Review

Mission First Tactical has announced the release of the TP15MRS AR15 Carbine Drop in Polymer MLOK Handguard. This new polymer AR15 handguard is a lightweight drop-in handguard that uses the M-Lock™ rails system and provides a secure platform for mounting Picatinny rails and accessories. The installation is a simple swap and no gunsmithing is required. You can do the entire installation without any tools, although a delta ring tool makes the installation easier.

The handguard is very lightweight coming in at just 4.5 ounces. Mine was very tight fitting. In fact, it was more difficult to put on than most handguards and it felt like I was forcing it more than usual. It took me a few minutes, but I did get it on and now it is very tight, snug, and solid fitting. It feels great in the hand. I haven’t added any accessories to it, and I’m not sure I will as it has a nice clean feel and I think I would prefer to keep it that way.  It retails for $39.99.

Weight: 4.5oz
