Glock introduces G43 Single Stack 9mm Concealed Carry Pistol

March 20, 2015

Guns, Product Review

G43_Slick_Sheet_RGBThere’s been plenty of rumors about it ever since they introduced the G42, a single stack concealed carry chambered in .380 auto, but now Glock has officially announced that they are making a 9mm version. Named the Glock 43, it will have a capacity of 6+1 rounds and an unloaded weight of 16.19 ounces. Glock has published a new site dedicated to the new gun so for more info and specs you can check out singlestack9.com. It will come with a flush fit magazine and one extended magazine that gives a longer grip but will not add any additional rounds to the capacity. Night sights will be available from the factory but not until a few months after the pistol launches.

It will be available to the public on April 10, 2015. MSRP is listed as $580 although I would expect it to sell for about $50-$100 less than that after the initial rush. Tell us what you think about the new gun.

I carry a Smith and Wesson 45cal with two mags. If I was to carry a 9mm I would want to carry more ammo than 7 rounds or so. The 45cal with hollow point power loads which has more stopping power often with one round. I have been to training class and have served ten years in the military carrying 45, 38s and 9mm pistols. I am not out to gun some one down but I will defend some one else the same as I would myself. I believe the arm public is a defense to all hostile party invading this country in the future is a plus for the arms public coming under the command of the arm forces. I am not a live hero nor do I want to be a dead one either. I will fight for my country and my freedom. Come hell or high waters. Amen!
