There’s been plenty of rumors about it ever since they introduced the G42, a single stack concealed carry chambered in .380 auto, but now Glock has officially announced that they are making a 9mm version. Named the Glock 43, it will have a capacity of 6+1 rounds and an unloaded weight of 16.19 ounces. Glock has published a new site dedicated to the new gun so for more info and specs you can check out singlestack9.com. It will come with a flush fit magazine and one extended magazine that gives a longer grip but will not add any additional rounds to the capacity. Night sights will be available from the factory but not until a few months after the pistol launches.
It will be available to the public on April 10, 2015. MSRP is listed as $580 although I would expect it to sell for about $50-$100 less than that after the initial rush. Tell us what you think about the new gun.
