History
Despite great opposition, each state has been considering concealed carry laws for a long time now. Slowly, most states have implemented CCW laws in some form or another. The only two states that currently do not allow any form of concealed carry are Wisconsin and Illinois.

Crime
The common opposition to states considering passing CCW laws is the fear that guns will be everywhere and people will turn small scale fights and arguments into firefights. These fears have been largely left without substance in the years since these laws have been passed. Crime has not gone up as a result of CCW laws and in many cases crime has decreased.
