So I just got my Utah Concealed Firearms Permit and I’m trying to figure out what gun to buy.  I want to carry the gun concealed, but I’m 6’3″, so I don’t necessarily have to get the smallest gun out there to pull it off.

Top two contenders right now are the Springfield XD-9 Sub Compact which and the Glock 19 Compact.  There seems to be plenty of debate in the forums out there as to which way to go — XD or Glock.

They both cost about the same amount.  The controls and the safety are a bit different.  Not sure how to make the final call.  Maybe over time I just get both!
